Marc’s over 40 years of gymnastics experience as an athlete and coach is a great bonus for our athletes at RGA since it simply sets the foundation of the sport right from the time the athletes start to train. Marc competed for the Ottawa gymnastics Club for 5 years. He is a Former BC WAG Coaching Chairman (twice), NCCP level 3 certified WAG coach, NCCP level 3 Technical Trampoline, NCCP level 2 certified MAG coach and a former GBC Zone 8 Director. He also served as the GBC Zone 8 Judging chair. And is now a certified WAG judge.
Coach Veronika Veronika’s wealth of experience as a competitive athlete and coach is an asset to RGA’s WAG (competitive) coaching team. Born and raised in Estonia, she took to gymnastics at a young age. She is the winner of Estonian National Championship awards in both 1991 and 1992. In her athlete years, she has competed in European, and World Championships and was a member of the team that won the Silver Medal at the Euro Team Championships. Veronika is NCCP3 certified amongst many other credits to her name. In her free time, if she has any from the daily mission of family, kids, gymnastics… and more gymnastics, she can be found sitting, and thinking about how to make her athletes achieve their goals through the love of the sport.
Todd has been has been coaching gymnastics in BC since 1981 and has coached every age group from pre-school to national level competitive athletes. Todd's love of bio-mechanics took him into the Human Kinetics program at UBC where he learnt to apply the science to the sport of gymnastics. Since completing his Human Kinetics Degree, he has gone on to complete his Bachelors and Masters of Education. Todd is currently a teacher in the Vancouver School District where he teaches grade 7 and coaches soccer, track and field, and badminton. He uses his teaching strategies to help gymnasts thoroughly understand the skills of gymnastics! And in the extra time that is available to him, he loves to workout, watch his own kids play soccer and make ‘stuff’.
Ben Cleroux got his start in gymnastics in high school, and hasn’t looked back since. He has been involved in the sport for 4 years, and has been coaching at the recreational level for 2 years, starting off by helping coach his former high school and high schools in North Vancouver. He is NCCP-certified in fundamental movement skills, a trained competitive coach, a certified parkour coach, and a judge for Men’s Artistic Gymnastics. Ben is currently completing a degree in Kinesiology, and will complete a diploma in Sport Science at Douglas College in Winter 2019. Ben is the Lead Recreational Coach at RGA, as well as the coach of the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics program, and would love to see you in the gym sometime! Kristy took her first gymnastics class when she was about 5 years old, but stopped shortly after. She resumed gymnastics at age 10 again and hasn’t stopped since. She has a few years of Interclub and HighSchool gymnastics experience with her. She chose to start coaching gymnastics since she absolutely loves the sport and wants stay in touch with it through coaching and mentoring other budding gymnasts. She has always admired her coaches and now she wants to be part of the same coaching philosophy that instills the bonding, discipline and love of the sport to athletes. In her free time, she likes to be outdoors with her friends, family and her pet dog. She also loves playing badminton and biking around in the summer. She is also fond of taking pictures and editing videos.

Coach-in-training Nicole Nicole has been interested in gymnastics since she was 6 years old. She has been dancing since she was 4 and hasn’t stopped since. She got into gymnastics just over a year ago and has loved it since. She is proud to have taught herself numerous gymnastics skills. She continues doing gymnastics with RGA and is now expanding on her coaching skills. She simply loves working with kids to teach them the basic skills of the sport. Coach Bella Bella grew up doing many styles of dance such as Latin, Jazz, Modern Jazz, and Chinese dance, which require both acrobatic, and flexibility skills. At the start of high school, she tried gymnastics and fell in love with the sport. Her experience in dance helped her tremendously in both tumbling and flexibility aspects of gymnastics. Bella enjoys working with children of all ages, and her main goal is to help budding athletes achieve their skills safely while boosting their confidence. Sharanvir Kang is a recreational coach with RGA, and has been coaching gymnastics for the last 8 years. She competed in gymnastics till age 14 and did competitive level dance until age 17. Sharan completed her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology at Simon Fraser University and has future plans to be a police officer.
